Formed in the spring of 2007, House in Sicily is owned and operated by Richard & Becky Lythgoe, a husband and wife team who fell in love with the beautiful Mediterranean isle of Sicily during a holiday in 2006. They subsequently moved to Cefalu and were married here on a sun-kissed day in the summer of 2007. Whilst continuing to discover and enjoy the endless and diverse attractions that Sicily offers, they also find time to offer a varied portfolio of services for those wishing to experience the Mediterranean magic that is Sicily. Whether you are planning to spend a week or two in Sicily on vacation or are considering purchasing your very own piece of this beautiful island, Richard & Becky would be delighted to help.

Based in the charming medieval town of Cefalu, on the northern coast of Sicily, House In Sicily’s knowledge and experience centres on the Cefalu and Madonie National Park region of Sicily, and utilising a wealth of local contacts House In Sicily operates across the varied regions of the island.

Our practical experience, combined with a local knowledge of the area and its legal and professional advisors, combine to make our service unique. In addition to the many villas, houses, apartments and business ventures/opportunities we exclusively represent, we also provide a property location service and work hand-in-hand with local estate agents to give you the widest possible choice.

Our services cover everything from an initial, accompanied inspection, to guiding you through the more technical aspects of buying a property, such as advice on raising finance and the legal system. Our ongoing property maintenance services ensure that once you have completed the purchase of your property it will be looked after and cared for when you cannot be in Sicily. We also offer a property letting service, should you wish to rent out your Sicilian property to holiday makers or more long term rental clients.
